So we make ornaments out of 3 different materials: Aluminum Metal, Ceramic, Frosted Glass
Aluminum Metal Ornaments: These are made of 0.045" thick Aluminum. This ornament is the most sturdy and is not going to break if dropped. The metal aluminum ornament also produces the most highest quality image out of all the ornaments we print on. So this ornament is best for an image that has more finer details. Also this is a 2 sided product so the image you provide for the ornament gets printed on both sides of the product. We currently do not have a way to print different images on each side.
Ceramic Ornaments: These are made of 1/8" thick ceramic material. The material is similar to a coffee mug. The image printed on this product will appear slightly blurred. This is due to the nature of the ceramic material. So if you have a lot of fine detail in your image, this detail will get lost when printed. Also this is a 2 sided product so the image you provide for the ornament gets printed on both sides of the product. We currently do not have a way to print different images on each side. Also be careful not to drop this product since it is fragile and can shatter.
Glass Ornaments: These are made of 1/8" thick glass that is frosted on the back side which is flat. The front of the ornament is clear and has beveled edges. The image is printed on the back side and shows through to the front side. So this is not a double sided product like the other ornaments. Also since the product is made of glass it does not have a white background. We also do not print a white background so there is a desired affect of how this product looks. Light shines through the image printed on the glass giving it a transparent look. It is best to hold the ornament up to a white colored surface or background to see the most accurate view of your image on the product. Holding up the ornament in front of other colors will have the appearance of those colors blending with the colors printed on the ornament. Also be careful not to drop since it is fragile glass.
