Yes. The magnet will stick to parts of the car that are steel. It will not stick to plastic or aluminum parts. Our magnets are 0.03 inches thick and very durable for outdoor applications.
The magnets are 0.03 inches thick. This is a standard outdoor magnet thickness.
Data from the manufacturer says these magnets are rated to withstand temperatures ranging from -15° F (126° C) to 160° F (71° C). Shrinkage is less than 1.5% at 158° F (70° C) in 7 days. What this means is if the magnet is kept outdoors in direct sunlight that heats the magnet to about 160° or hotter for a certain period of time it could shrink or peel.
